Q: How does it work?
A: We are not preachers. We just facilitate the service. We stream live services from Lone Star Cowboy Church and work closely with the pastors and church staff to ensure we are upholding the church’s standards. We have a relatively small and intimate church family that we have come to love. We usually share breakfast or lunch, watch the service together and visit about eachother’s weeks.
Q: Tell me about the church.
A: Lone Star Cowboy Church is located in Montgomery, Texas. They believe strongly in a direct connection with Jesus and with other believers. Their core values are simple:
- People are God’s greatest treasure
- Honor God and he will honor you
- The church is the only hope for the world
You can check them out directly at Lonestar.tv or on Facebook.
Q: Who is the preacher?
A: Not us! Pastor Randy and Darla Weaver of Montgomery, Texas are the head pastors. Pastor Randy is down to earth, speaks simply but truthfully and always gets down to the nitty gritty. His life experiences and messages involve horses, cows, dogs, ranching and rodeoing. So his language is our language.
Q: Do you receive an offering?
A: We are strong believers in tithing, but we prefer all tithe goes directly to Lone Star Cowboy Church online. Click here to tithe or donate.
Q: Why not just go to a local church?
A: There are some wonderful churches here!! We have visited several. We just feel a strong connection to Lone Star Cowboy Church and feel led to share here with those who don’t have a church family.
Q: How do I join?
A: Just show up! Sunday mornings at 10:30am at the Barn. Everyone is welcome.
